Our Story
PLUS/AUDIT TAX has roots that stretch back to 1993, when founder Tatyana Kulyavtseva established a small accounting firm abroad. Over time, the firm built a reputation for precision, trust, and client-focused service across international markets.
Today, based in Englewood, Colorado, we bring that same commitment to U.S. taxpayers—combining decades of knowledge with a deep understanding of IRS rules and small-business tax needs. Guided by Benjamin Franklin’s enduring wisdom—“In this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes”—we have made it our mission to support our clients in navigating the complexities of tax systems, both locally and globally.
There’s no need to visit our office in person to get the job done. We work with clients remotely using a secure, reliable online portal, email communication, and Zoom meetings. These tools allow us to deliver the same high level of personalized service you’d expect from a face-to-face appointment—efficient, professional, and fully accessible from anywhere.

What Exactly Is an “Enrolled Agent”?
You might be wondering—what does that title mean?
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax practitioner with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. The Enrolled Agent designation has a long history, dating back to 1884, when it was created to regulate individuals representing taxpayers in dealings with the Treasury Department.
Enrolled Agents assist taxpayers in various ways before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which operates under the Treasury Department. Their federal license provides them with the authority to:
Represent taxpayers in audits, appeals, collections, and other tax matters.
Prepare tax returns and provide expert tax advice.
Handle cases involving individuals, businesses, and other entities.
Think of it this way:
A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) may handle accounting, audits, and taxes—licensed by a state.
An EA focuses exclusively on taxation and is licensed by the U.S. Treasury, giving them unlimited rights to represent clients in all 50 states.
So, if you’re dealing with the IRS—whether it’s a tax return, an audit, or a resolution—an EA is your go-to tax specialist.
